PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING POLICY,
IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE OF THE 30th OF JUNE 2003 N. 196 (SEE THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION CODE) AND WITH THE GDPR 679/2016 (EU)

This Policy complies with section 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 ─ Personal Data Protection Code (hereinafter “Privacy Code") ─ and with GDPR 679/2016 (EU), with regards to the management of the personal information you submitted by filling out the “Contacts” form on the corresponding page of the website www.newl.it (hereinafter "Personal Data").

1. Personal Data Controller 

Your Personal Data will be processed by New Line S.r.l., based in Milan, Via Riccardo Lombardi, n. 19/10 (NL) and by New Line Ricerche di Mercato srl (NLRdM), based in Via Riccardo Lombardi 19/10 – 20153 Milan (Italy), according to the purposes listed below.
The person in charge of the processing is Ms. Elena Folpini.
NL and NLRdM employees and partners may only have access to your Personal Data as representatives of the Company, to the extent necessary to answer your request.

2. Purposes of the processing

Your Personal Data will be processed in order to examine your contact and/or information requests or other enquiries and allow us to send you the appropriate answers.
We ask you to provide us the Personal Data stated above and consent to its processing exclusively for such purposes, by checking the corresponding box next to the following sentence:
“I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understood the extended Privacy Policy, and consent to the processing of my Personal Data (as defined in the Policy and in the “Contacts” form above) according to the purposes and methods envisaged in the aforementioned policy”.
Your name and email address are required in order to allow us to respond to you and send you the information requested through the "Contacts" form on our website.

3. Data Processing and Users' Rights

Your Personal Data will be processed legally, correctly and with the highest possible privacy, through electronic or digital means; it will be stored both in digital and physical format, or any other kind of applicable format, in compliance with the Technical Guidelines on minimum safety measures, attachment B of the Italian Legislative Decree 196/03, and with any other applicable law or regulation. 
All personal information and any other data we collect are processed both manually and automatically, and will be retained only for the time needed to fulfil the purposes for which they have been collected. Therefore, the Personal Data we collected for the purposes stated below will be processed only in order to allow our company to examine and answer your requests.
Our systems employ all the adequate security measures needed to prevent data loss, illegal or improper use of the data, unauthorized access, and to avoid any illicit dissemination or alteration of the information.

You are entitled to:

I. The rights provided by section 7 of the Italian Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 (readable in full by clicking on the section number). Therefore, you shall have the right to:

A. Obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, even as non-registered users, and ask to be informed about it in a clear and comprehensible manner.

B. Obtain information about:
b.1.) the source of the Personal Data;
b.2) the purposes and nature of the processing;
b.3) the logic involved in the automated data processing, where available;
b.4) the identity and the contact details of the controller, of the controller’s representative and of the data protection officer;
b.5) the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, or who may have access to it as representatives, managers or persons in charge in the state territory.

C. Require and obtain:
c.1) updates, rectification and, where applicable, integrations of your Personal Data;
c.2) the deletion, anonymization or blocking of all unlawfully processed data, including those that are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
c.3) the confirmation that the operations carried out in accordance with Section c.1) and c.2) have been communicated in both form and content to each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort;
D. Object, fully or in part:
d.1) on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing of personal data concerning you, even if relevant to the purpose for which they were collected;
d.2) to processing of personal data concerning you for direct marketing purposes, i.e. advertisements, direct sales or market research and marketing communications.

II. From the 25th of May 2018 - when the GDPR 679/2016 (EU) becomes applicable - you will also be entitled to the rights exposed in sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21 and 77 of the aforementioned GDPR (readable in full by clicking on the related link), and will also have the right to:

A. Obtain a restriction of processing from the controller where one of the following applies:
a.1) you contest the accuracy of the personal data, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
a.2) the processing is unlawful and you oppose the deletion of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead;
a.3) the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
a.4) you have objected to processing for legitimate reasons, pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override yours;

B. Receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from NL and/or NLRdM (see "data portability");

C. Object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you;

D. Obtain from NL and NLRdM the deletion of personal data concerning you without undue delay, and NL and NLdRM shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay (see "right to be forgotten"), where one of the following grounds applies:
d.1) the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
d.2) there is no other legal ground for the processing;
d.3) you legally object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for NL and/or NLRdM to proceed with it;
d.4) the personal data have been unlawfully processed;
d.5) the personal data have to be deleted for compliance with a legal obligation;

E. If you believe that the data concerning you violates any of the provisions of the GDPR, you can file a complaint to the competent authority in the Member State were you reside, work or where the alleged violation has taken place.
You can revoke your consent to processing of your personal data at any time.
By revoking your consent, you will no longer be able to access the services and activities provided according to the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy.
